Doomyoga Membership Terms & Conditions

Membership Overview

Your membership provides unlimited access to all weekly scheduled studio and online yoga classes offered by Doomyoga. This membership exclusively covers yoga classes and does not include workshops, special events, or other offerings unless otherwise specified.

While members are often gifted complimentary access to additional offerings such as gong baths and guided meditations, these are provided at the discretion of Doomyoga and are not guaranteed or contractually included in the membership. They may change or be withdrawn without notice and do not alter your membership entitlements.

Membership Details

• This is a monthly rolling membership that renews automatically each month.

• A minimum 3-month commitment is required; following that, you may cancel with 30 days’ written notice prior to your next billing date.

• Membership is charged at £60/month, billed to your saved payment method.

Freezing Memberships

Due to the extremely small-scale nature of Doomyoga and its status as a one-woman-run studio still in its first year and a half, we are not currently able to offer freezes for holidays or short-term absences.

The membership model was created to provide community and security—for both members and the studio. Your ongoing support is essential for keeping this space open. While it’s difficult for me to turn down requests to freeze (and I hope to offer more flexibility in the future), at this stage, it’s vital to protect the studio’s sustainability.

Late Cancellation and No-Show Fees

• Late cancellations (within 3 hours of the class): £6 fee

• No-shows: £10 fee

• Please cancel at least 3 hours in advance to avoid charges.

Payment Failures

• If your payment fails, we will contact you to resolve the issue.

• If unresolved within 10 days, a £25 late fee will apply.

• Membership will be suspended until payment is cleared in full.

Refund Policy

No refunds are available for this membership. All payments are final and fully integrated into the operating budget of this independent space.

Studio Holiday Closures

Doomyoga closes for one month over the end-of-year holidays and for two weeks during summer. These breaks are part of the annual rhythm of the studio and are factored into the membership pricing, which remains extremely accessible compared to commercial studios. These closures do not qualify for partial refunds or freezes.

Timetable Changes

• Doomyoga reserves the right to make minor changes to the class timetable.

• Major changes will be communicated in advance via email.

• Compensation will be considered if deemed appropriate.

Studio Facilities

Doomyoga is an independent traditional shala and meditation space, not a commercial ‘Western’ yoga studio.

• There is no reception and no showers.

• You are welcome to use the bathroom to change, access the kitchen for water, and use all provided props and mats.

Disclaimer

Doomyoga is a one-woman operation.

• In the event of illness or personal emergency, classes may be canceled without cover.

• Occasionally, I am invited to teach at events or festivals, and I reserve the right to cancel classes in order to attend these.

• Notice of known cancellations will always be given with as much lead time as possible.

This membership was created to support a living sanctuary, not just a studio—a place to gather, practice, and connect through tradition, sound, and spirit. It exists to support you, and equally, your membership supports its survival.

The price reflects the belief that yoga should be accessible and that community should come first. It offers extraordinary value—equivalent to the cost of just four full-price drop-in classes—plus frequent bonus offerings.
